In the earlier release of AutoCAD, the simple workflow was to Export the AutoCAD Drawing Files to *.BMP and in turn use some of popular image editing software and convert it into JPEG.
How to Save AutoCAD Drawing to BMP
Now when you select Other Formats – you will be prompted to save in different format and select *.BMP File. Now using popular tools such as snagit editor , you can convert to JPEG File Format.

Although we saw a method to convert the AutoCAD file to BMP and in turn to JPEG. In AutoCAD 2014, there is a Free JPEGs Plotter. Let’s see more about it.
When you are finished with the drawing, select Print from the Application Menu and select Plot. ( See image )
Now when you click on Plot – you can select printer / plotter – to PUBLISH TO WEB – JPG.pc3 – see below and in turn select Paper Size which is appropriate to you and select Plot Area as Window – so that you can plot the required area as JPEG and center to plot. Now you can either select preview or click on OK.
As you click on OK, you will see a prompt to save the drawing in JPG format.
