When you start working with AutoCAD, you can refer to the Status Bar which in turn display Coordinates in AutoCAD Software. This in turn helps you identify where your cursor is located along with the objects that you draw.
Dynamic Input – can be switched ON to display coordinates in AutoCAD all the time.
Display Coordinates in AutoCAD
AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT have three coordinate displays.
Absolute Coordinate – is one that changes as you move the mouse (cursor)
Static Absolute Coordinate
Absolute Coordinate – is one that change only when the user specifies a point.
Dynamic Polar Coordinate
Polar Coordinate – is one that changes continuously as you move the mouse. These tend to appear after you have specified a point or willing to specify the next.
