At times, you may need a calculator for performing some basic calculation in design or CAD Drawings. You can access Calculator from Windows too, by going to Start > Run > (Typing Calc). This may some times lead to disturbances when working with AutoCAD and in turn coming back to Calculator, either pressing the ALT + TAB key or clicking on Calculator from the Status Bar of Windows.

This is rather a simple technique to access Calculator from AutoCAD and the above problems can be avoided. All you do is type QC from the command prompt or from the Dynamic Input Tab, there you go, Calculator (Scientific Type) is at your service. This calculator can do much more than the ordinary calculator, that is available in windows. We will see more about this in the later posts.
